Amr Shouman is a Ph.D. candidate in economics at Cairo University, specializing in agricultural and food trade , and SME's growth.


Amr Mohamed Galal Shouman, a retired military colonel with a master's degree in Planning and Development (Economics), is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Cairo University and an Arabic language proofreader certified by the Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom, Cairo University. He has collaborated with a constellation of eminent scholars as a research assistant and assistant researcher on numerous projects in the fields of agriculture, food, and support and development of small and medium-sized enterprises, funded by prestigious international institutions such as the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the World Bank, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), the Egyptian Ministry of Scientific Research, the NEPAD Agency of the African Union, and the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development. Additionally, he has provided linguistic and technical proofreading for numerous published research papers and articles. Shouman has also worked as a researcher and proofreader at the Saeef Bin Hilal Center for Energy Research, as well as an economic, administrative, and development consultant for various institutions, including Alfanan Foods, Emo Care for medical equipment import and trade, and Yanabee' for general trade and supplies.
